Returns and right of withdrawal
Deadlines, returning goods and refunds for distance purchases.
The 14-day period
For most online consumer purchases, you may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days. For a single goods delivery, the period starts when you or your designated third party, other than the carrier, receives the goods. Deliveries in lots or recurring deliveries have specific starting rules.
Before the deadline, send a clear statement to returns@nexaelectronics.eu with your name, order number, product and contact email. The Withdrawal page provides an optional text template.
How to return goods
Send or hand back the goods within 14 days after notifying withdrawal. Contact us for the return address and instructions. Use suitable packaging and retain proof of dispatch. Return authorisation helps routing, but its absence does not invalidate a clear withdrawal notified on time.
You bear the direct return cost only if informed before purchase. Nexa pays or arranges return of faulty, incorrect or damaged goods where required by law.
Do not send a lithium battery that is swollen, leaking, recalled or unsafe. Ask for instructions first. Back up and erase personal data, sign out of accounts and disable activation locks before returning a device.
Inspection and diminished value
You may handle goods as you would in a shop to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. You may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary. Opening ordinary electronics packaging does not by itself remove the right of withdrawal.
Keep accessories, manuals, promotional items and packaging where reasonably possible. Removing serial labels, modifying goods or causing avoidable damage may affect value or a guarantee assessment, subject to the law.
Refunds
Nexa refunds the product price and the cost of the least expensive standard outbound delivery offered within 14 days after receiving the notice. For goods, it may wait until receiving the return or evidence of dispatch, whichever comes first.
Refunds normally use the original payment method through Stripe. Another method requires your express agreement and must not cost you a fee. The difference for express delivery or another upgrade over standard delivery is outside the statutory minimum refund.
Exceptions and in-store purchases
Legal exceptions may cover goods made to specification or clearly personalised, and sealed goods genuinely unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons after unsealing. The hygiene exception is narrow and does not allow rejection of every opened electronic product.
Purchases concluded entirely in the physical shop normally do not carry the statutory 14-day distance-sale withdrawal right. Any voluntary return arrangement is stated on the receipt and does not reduce rights for non-conforming goods.
A problem with the product
Withdrawal and the legal guarantee are separate rights. For defective, unsafe, incorrect or transit-damaged goods, contact support@nexaelectronics.eu. Remedies and costs follow the legal guarantee and delivery rules.
